Our God is a God of Wonders; He created the Heavens and the earth and those wonders in them. He knows what lies in darkness, and light dwells with Him. His glory is incontestably evident as described by the Psalmist:

The heavens declare the glory of God, and the sky above proclaims his handiwork.
Day to day pours out speech, and night to night reveals knowledge. There is no speech, nor are there words, whose voice is not heard (Psalm 19:1-3).

He reveals deep and secret things according to His will to those who seek to know; no wonder He made us His righteousness in Christ Jesus. He made us be part of the wonders by creating us in His image and sending His only begotten Son to save us from imminent peril.

Let everything that has breath praise Him.

For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that everyone who believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through Him.…( John 3:16-17).

He will never forsake His children. Christ Jesus admonished us not to let our hearth be troubled; He has gone to prepare a place for us. He will come for us so that we will be with Him where He is (John 14:1-3).

You have been made God’s righteousness in Christ Jesus, therefore arise and reign.

Our salvation is very much required to arise and reign with Christ; that if you confess with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved (Romans 10:9-10).

What is Salvation?

Salvation is the state of being saved or protected from harm or a dreadful situation.

Being delivered from sins is a process. We receive a clean slate when we are delivered from our sins and start again. Jesus Christ paid the ultimate price on the cross for our sins. The consequence we deserve is death, but Jesus stood in for us out of His great love.

We are saved by believing in God and His son Jesus Christ. We are forgiven for our sins if we believe in Him. Salvation is a gift, and we receive it if we believe in God and His son Jesus Christ.

To find peace and happiness and enjoy God’s wonders, we must appreciate Christ’s sacrifice for us. We can only find true peace when we acknowledge our sins and accept Christ as our savior.

Why Did People Turn Their Backs On God Despite His Wonders?

It’s a mind bugling question bothering me for a while now. Why did people turn their backs and doubt God after knowing His wonders?

I believe that they were not aware of what was happening to them. They could not interpret the signs and wonders they were receiving; many people would have gladly accepted the Lord if they had known how to interpret these signs.

There is nothing like having an open heart to receive all the blessings God has in store for you.

People turned their backs on God because:

They were not sure what to do with their lives. They did not know the interpretation of their situation. Many people in such dire situations were ignorant that they had only one option; provided by Christ Jesus:

Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light (Matthew 11:28-30).

The rest being sort after can only be obtained in Christ Jesus.

Many people were being forced into situations they didn’t want to be. They were just being taken advantage of by their circumstances and used as human shields by their circumstances. They forgot what the scripture says:

For freedom, Christ has set us free; stand firm therefore, and do not submit again to a yoke of slavery(Galatians 5:1). Freedom from unwanted and unwarranted situations comes only from our Saviour, Christ Jesus.

It will help if you overcome the obstacles in your life. It would help if you learned how to overcome the barriers and achieve your goals. You have to realize how much you can achieve. You must know that you are more powerful than you think; the scripture says: “No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us (Romans 8:37).

You must know that you can succeed if you put your mind to it. You must know how to use your strengths and abilities in Christ Jesus to your advantage.
